LocationSt Helier, Jersey
9 Pier Road
This early 19th Century merchant’s house in St Helier has been the home of the museum collection of La Societe Jersiase since the late 19th Century and is now at the heart of the island’s principal museum. We are now re-roofing the building, re-instating decayed Welsh slates, repairing timber and replacing rotten lead in the valley gutters. We’re also replacing the missing lantern at the head of the fine stairs, working from early photographs and site dimensions to recreate its original form.
