Fernanda is an architect and urbanist with experience of conservation and refurbishment, principally in Brazil and Portugal. She has a background in urban planning and her doctoral thesis examines change and rehabilitation in traditional buildings in the centre of the World Heritage Site of Porto.

She is now working towards accreditation as an architect in the UK and Jersey.
