Alison qualified as an architect in 1999. Alison studied in Plymouth, completing her part three in Bath. At the end of her studies Alison won a travelling scholarship to Hong Kong where she worked on a project in Shanghai for Patrice Butler. Alison returned to Jersey and has since worked for a number of Jersey practices and is currently President of the Association of Jersey Architects.

Alison is now working towards registration as an Architect Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC).
