Historic Impact Statements and Advice

We have many years’ experience conserving, repairing, refurbishing, re-using, retrofitting and restoring historic buildings for public, private and charity sector clients. This covers all types of structures, including ruins, castles, fortifications, occupation structures, vernacular buildings and domestic houses.

We advise on what alterations are possible. Finding out what you can and can’t do early on streamlines the process, saves time and money later.

We act as heritage consultants for civil engineering works, usually as part of multi-disciplinary teams. This includes marine structures or installations near or within listed structures.

We provide advice to architects and property owners regarding repairs and alterations to historic buildings and their settings, changes affecting the historic environment, and advise on what may be permitted by the Planning Department.
