Our services
-
Survey, repair and re-use
We carry out building surveys and specify repairs to historic buildings and structures. We work as part of multi-disciplinary teams finding new uses for existing buildings and also submit planning and listed building applications for refurbishment projects.
-
Historic impact statements and advice
We advise listed property owners on how to change, adapt and refurbish historic buildings. We write Heritage Impact Statements and regularly work as part of multi-disciplinary teams on larger scale projects.

Landscape design, public realm and placemaking
We offer landscape, public realm and placemaking design and consultancy. We uncover what’s really needed through bespoke public engagement and manage the creative process between artists, designers, business, community and public.
About us
We help people understand, enjoy and use the historic built environment. We want to save and re-use buildings, rather than knock them down.
We believe that heritage should be at the centre of the regeneration of towns and cities. And we care about the spaces between buildings that forms our public realm.
We have set up two related enterprises to help develop this: Public Voice: Common Ground finds out what communities really want in their shared spaces and delivers meanwhile and long-term improvement based on this. The Jersey Building Preservation Trust provides heritage skills training to construction professionals and operatives so that we can effectively repair our historic buildings.
