Since completing a degree in real estate valuation and management Michael has worked for Stephen Aylwin & Co, Chartered Surveyors and ABS Chartered Surveyors in Jersey and was elected as an associate member of the RICS in 2009.
His interest in historic buildings has led to attendance on the RICS Conservation summer course (2013) and SPAB courses 2009 (pointing & lime mortar) and 2011 (introduction to historic buildings). Work in Jersey has included repairs to the listed 1930s façade of ‘New Look’ in King Street (with Antony Gibb), lime pointing and repairs to the Moulin de Lecq, and repairs to properties owned by private domestic and commercial clients and the Crown.
