Sarah’s background lies in architectural history and planning. She began her career working for the Historic Buildings Section of Jersey’s Planning Department. After gaining her MSc in Historic Conservation in Oxford, she worked for Oxford City Council and then for Camden Borough Council as a Conservation and Urban Design Officer.

This was followed by work for CgMs Consulting, a Planning Consultancy primarily working in London and the South-East of England.

Sarah returned to Jersey with a growing family in 2010. She is a member of the National Trust for Jersey’s Planning Advisory Panel and a former member of MRLAG (Ministerial Registration and Listing Advisory Group in Jersey). She is a full member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC).
